Wednesday, May 2nd  is the Annual GHFCA BBQ/Membership Drive and Awards Night held at the University of Houston Alumni Center. Doors open at 5:30. It is $5 at the door for BBQ and beverages with the awards ceremony following at 7:00.  Awards given out include the Hall of Honor, Distinguished Service, Asst. Coach of the Year, Trainer of the Year and the Wife Honor Award as well as scholarships for deserving graduating seniors.

Thursday, May 3rd  is the Say No to Drugs Poster at 4:30 pm at Rice University.  1 student from each high school should attend dressed in dark jersey/pants.  Please have them there by 4:00 pm to check in.  For any questions regarding the poster please contact Jim Holley at Kingwood Park HS.
